Elsa Fowler Nazerian

Elsa Fowler Nazerian, age 83 of McCaysville GA, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Nazerian was born April 1, 1934, in Gilmer County, GA to the late Reed Fowler and the late Mae Jones Fowler. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church, an avid reader, an excellent cook and a rock to her children and grandchildren. She had an unconditional love for her family.

Survivors include: children, Ginger (James) Buchanan, Vicki (Mike) Shinpaugh, Chuck (Janice) Nazerian and Mitzi Lowery, brothers, Jim Fowler, Pete Fowler, and Ferris Fowler, sisters, Evelyn Ledford, and Betty Ahanger, grandchildren, Jamie (Michelle) Buchanan, Jill (Dan) Louney, Chris Shinpaugh, Sydney Nazerian, Julia Nazerian, Mark Lowery, and Mitchell (Victoria) Lowery, great-grandchildren, McKenzie Buchanan, Andrew Buchanan, Beckam Louney, Brinkly Louney, Hope Lowery, Charlie Lowery and Camila Lowery, special friends, Dorothy Griggs and Kathleen Arp.

Funeral services: Friday, March 16, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music provided by Jimmy Allen. Interment will follow in Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jamie Buchanan, Chris Shinpaugh, Dan Louncy, Danny Shinpaugh, Stephen Nazerian, and Jordan Nazerian.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, Friday, March 16, 2018, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
