Elmer "Pete" Fowler

Elmer Juan "Pete" Fowler, age 82 of Mineral Bluff, passed away September 20, 2018 at his home. Pete was born January 14, 1936 in Blue Ridge, GA to the lateReed Fowler and the late Mae Jones Fowler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Clay Fowler, grandson, Michael Fowler, and several brothers and sisters, Farrish Fowler, Junior Fowler, Harold "Buddy" Fowler, Norman Fowler, Mary Fowler, and Elsie Nazerian. Pete served his country enlisting in the US Air Force. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting knives and being outdoors.

Survivors include loving wife, Betty Cantrell Fowler, son, Johnny (Barbara) Fowler, daughter, Teresa (Wayne) Greenway, daughter, Martha (Daniel) McGinnis, brother, Delmar Fowler, sister, Evelyn Ledford, sister, Betty Ahanger, ten grandchildren, Corey Brooks, Cheryl Gable, Christopher Lancaster, Noah Greenway, Josh Greenway, Greg Smith, Pam Sheridan, Tanya Grier, Buffy Zenor, and Jason Fowler and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 24, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home from 12-2 pm.
