Elizabeth Walker Perry was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024.
Elizabeth was born in Union County (Blairsville),GA and lived there for 37 years until work called her away to Rabun County, GA.
She was employed by the U.S. Postal service for 30 years, retiring as postmaster of Highlands, NC. She was loved, admired, and respected by many for her dedication and service to others. She then worked with her husband Steve Perry for 10 years in the financial investment industry, again in service to customers. She was stubborn, honest to a fault, full of spunk, and had a heart of gold. She wanted to do all she could to help others. Her priorities were God, then family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. and Betty P. Butt, her twin sister, Jane Franks and her brother Phill Butt.
Her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her wonderful, loving husband ,Steve. Her children Brock, Nicole, Chad, Ryan, Jessica, Nicolet, Scott and Elizabeth. Her grandchildren Caden, Conor, Jackson, Miles, Sutton, Ella, Avi, Winnie, and Hank. Her brother, Mike Butt, her sister-in-laws, Donna Crowe and Marna Courson, brother-in-laws Alan Franks and Richard Roschli. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
