Elizabeth Mull

    Elizabeth G. Mull, 86, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee, GA. Elizabeth was born September 18, 1936, in Hiawassee, GA to William and Mae Garrett.

She was a lifelong resident of Towns county and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter and won awards at the Georgia Mountain Fair. She loved gardening and growing flowers. She sang with her family in a gospel quartet.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by husband, Horace Lee Mull; father, William Garrett; mother, Mae Garrett; daughter, Loette Burrell; grandson Phillip Brian Lee Mull, and 13 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son Phillip (Faye) Mull; daughter Rebecca Lynn (Richard) Vandernoord; daughter Lois (Roger) Maney; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother Welchel Garrett.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 11th from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee.

Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Mull will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, at 2:30 pm at Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Hayesville, North Carolina.

The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers; Jodi Maney, Kyle Van Der Noord, John Van Der Noord, Brandon Garrett, Russell Mashburn, Roger Garrett, Ronnie Garrett, Johnny Garrett.
