Elizabeth "Betty" Irene Jameson Henderson, 96 of Brasstown, NC passed away Wednesday March 21, 2018 at Erlanger East Hospital in Chattanooga, TN after a brief illness.
Elizabeth was born December 3, 1921 in Ada, Ohio.
She was quite a novelty, as she was the first girl born in the Jameson family in four generations. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She lived in several states before moving to Ft. Lauderdale where she raised her family and was a fashion model. In 1982 she moved to Brasstown, NC to start a horse farm and had a love for all animals.
A past choir member of the First United Methodist church of Murphy, NC and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Edwin & Hazel Jameson ; two brothers Howard Edwin Jameson and wife Mary Lee, Charles Raymond Jameson and wife Isabelle, childhood sweetheart and first true love husband James Wilson and husband James Leon Henderson.
She is survived by son James Michael Wilson Coconut Creek, FL; two daughters, Linda Witherwax and husband Michael of Lake Worth, Florida, Vicki Green and husband Jerry of Brasstown, NC; five grandchildren, Terry Wilson and Taylor Wilson, Sean Witherwax and wife Diana, Cody Green and Corey Green. Beloved nephew Howard Edwin Jameson, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN.
The family had a private memorial to celebrate her life.
