Elizabeth Victoria "Betty" Demand, age 91, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Monday, January 1, 2007 at Piedmont Mountain Side Hospital, in Japser Georgia. Mrs. Demand was born Sunday, February 28, 1915 in Ansonia, CT to the late James Ashelford and the late Elvira Davies Ashelford.
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Diane & Bud Evans of Blue Ridge, GA, daughter, Nancy Demand of Dania Beach, FL, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 5, 2006 at 2:00 P. M. from the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia & Forest Lawn Funeral Home, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL was intrusted with the arrangements.
