Elbert Wesley Beaver

Elbert Wesley Beaver, age 90 of Morganton, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at North East Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born August 3, 1922 in Union County, GA to the late Henry L. Beaver and Bertha Weaver Beaver. He was A member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and hunting.
Survivors include: wife of 69 years, Flossie Odom Beaver, sons, Kenneth (Liz) Beaver, Jerry (Betty) Beaver, daughters, Evelyn Hyde, Jessie Mae (Johnnie) Jones, Judy (John) Patterson, daughter, Julie (Jerry) Beavers, Joann (Tim) McCord, Brothers, Fred Beaver, Max Beaver, sisters, Vera Hall and Ollier Dailey, thirteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren..

Funeral services: Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at 2:00PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ricky Beavers and Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Music provided by:Homer Johnson, Joann and Britney McCord. Interment followed inOak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jimmy Jones, Billy Jones, Koty Queen, Scottie Queen, Wesley Beavers, and Tulas Queen.
