Elaine Bishop (McInnis)

Mrs. Elaine McInnis Bishop, age 93, of Blue Ridge Georgia, passed away Thursday morning, November 25, 2010 at Heritage Health Care.
Mrs. Bishop was born in Raeford, North Carolina on May 5, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Norman A. McInnis and Elizabeth McGilvary McInnis of Dundarrach, North Carolina. She was a homemaker and treasurer for Forest Hill High School in West Palm Beach Florida for 18 years. Mrs. Bishop also lived in Miami and Tallahassee, Florida before moving to Blue Ridge in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo L. Bishop, in 1992 and brothers: Eugene McInnis and Laverne McInnis.
Surviving family members include daughter and son-in-law Patricia B. and Ron Beckey of Suches, Georgia and daughter and son-in-law Donna B. and Gordon Riddoch of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Siblings include: Clyde McInnis of Snead Island, Florida, Kathleen Jones of Dundarrach, North Carolina, Vivian Fogartie of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Glenn McInnis of Raeford, North Carolina. Grandchildren and their spouses include: Scott and Rhonda Beckey, David and Sherry Beckey, Meagan and Brent Bradshaw and Mason and Leslie Riddoch; three great grandchildren: Elaine Beckey, Robert Beckey and Katelyn Bradshaw.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 29, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, with Rev. Clarence Drummond and Rev. Doug Burrell
officiating. Burial will be at Meadowwood Memorial Park in Tallahassee, Florida.
