Effie Free

Mrs. Effie Free, age 92 of Morganton, passed away December 29, 2015 . Mrs. Free was born December 30, 1922 in Morganton, GA to the late John Stewart and Myrtle Cochran Stewart. Mrs. Free was Baptist in faith. She was preceded in death by husband, John Free, Brother's, Arvil Stewart, Winston Stewart, Johnny Stewart, Eddie Hyde, Sister's, Edith Stewart, Marie Dykes, Willa Mae Johnson, and sister, Reathel Barton.
Survivors include: daughter, Alla Mae Dewey, daughter, Helen R Wheeler, son, Charles H Free, son, John Calvin Free, Brother, Norman Stewart, Brother, Harold Stewart, sister, Ethel Allen, sister, Estelee Watkins, sister, Glee Wright, sister, Thelma Davenport.

Graveside services will be held at Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following visitation.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M.
