Mr. Edward Wilcox Jr. age 89 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Life Care of Copper Basin. Mr. Wilcox was born May 2, 1929, in Ducktown, TN to the late Edward Wilcox Sr. and the late Effie Taylor Wilcox. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, and a retired miner with Tennessee Chemical Company, his favorite pastime was working. He was preceded in death by wife of sixty-four years, Mildred Lucille Wilcox, sisters, Geneva White, Lucille Newman, Della Bee Chastain, and Sandra 'Sis" Helton.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynda (Tommy) Cole, son, Ricky (Deborah) Wilcox, brother, Melvin (Clarice) Wilcox.

Funeral services: Friday, September 14, 2018, at 7:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Music provided by Janice Reed: Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Saturday morning at 11:00 AM. Pallbearers: Bill Simmons, Gerald Wilcox, Tanner Wilcox, Jerry "Lynn" McHan, Jack McHan, and Johnny Thomas.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, September 14, 2018, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
