Edward Paul Peterson, 80, of Vero Beach, Florida, and Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.
Mr. Peterson was born in Vero Beach, on February 11, 1936, a son of the late Axel Peterson and Lillian Lundeen Peterson. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a citrus grower in Florida. For most of his life, he owned and operated Peterson's Grove and Nursery in Vero Beach.
Surviving family members left behind to treasure Mr. Peterson's memory are: his wife, Leona; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Bill Lewis, of Blairsville; three grandchildren: Tessa House, Michael Moody, and Randall House; and four great grandchildren.
