Edward Harold McKnight

Edward Harold McKnight, age 83 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away November 19, 2021, in Blue Ridge, GA. Mr. McKnight was born May 21, 1938, in Columbia, SC to the late Edward McKnight and the late Willa Kennedy McKnight. A member of Calvary Baptist Church, Mr. McKnight regularly attended Highland Baptist Church. He was a 20 year veteran of the US Coast Guard and enjoyed cooking and watching sports on TV.

Survivors include: wife, Sharon McKnight; children, Lynne Everett, David McKnight, and Sharon Fields; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews, Robert McKnight, Joy Jordan, and Jan Wilburn.

Funeral services: Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge with the Rev. Rusty Thomas officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA on December 9, 2021, at 11:00 am.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
