Edna "Aleece" Kimsey (Runion)

Mrs. Edna Aleece Kimsey, age 91 of Turtletown, passed away September 20, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mrs. Kimsey was born September 11, 1920 in Polk County, TN to the late Elias Runion and Florence Johnson Runion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kimsey, son, Lewis Kimsey, son, Randall Kimsey, four brothers, Langston Runion, John Runion, Vencil Runion, Fred Runion, and five sisters, Christine Spurling, Louise Runion, Mary Witt, Blanche Deal, and Jean Hopkins.

Survivors include: son, Mitchell and wife Brenda Kimsey, son, Dennis Kimsey, daughter, Faye Nicholson, daughter in law, Rose Kimsey, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Richard Morrow and Reverend Wayne Carter officiating. The gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Aleece's grandsons, Derrick Kimsey, Jeremy Kimsey, Travis Kimsey, Tim Kimsey, Leslie Nicholson and Gary Nicholson. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of the grandchildren and great-granchildren.
