Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces the death of Edna Grace Riens, age 88, of Blairsville, who passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Union County Nursing Home.
Ms. Riens was born in Clay County, Florida on May 19, 1922, a daughter of the late Henry and Ina Rose (DeBolt) Sapp. She moved to Blairsville, Georgia in 1998 after a career as a Dental Technician. Ms. Riens was preceded in death by her son, Zane Henry Riens; a daughter, Helen Celeste Becker; and brother, Henry E. Sapp.
Surviving family members include sons, William Fred Riens of Middleburg, FL and Glen A Riens of Valdosta, GA; daughters, Patricia J Braun of Blairsville, GA, and Denise I. Jarmon of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Avis Pearson of Marshall, NC; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
