Earl Francis Elwood

Earl Francis Elwood III, age 76, of Morganton, GA, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, in Braselton, GA. Earl was born May 30, 1946, in Newark, DE to the late Earl Elwood and the late Shirley Stanley.  

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Leslie Elwood; daughter, Tracie Holena; sister, Karen (Joseph) Lovell; brother, Lance (Wendy) Elwood; brother-in-law, Leland Basey; sister-in-law, Linda (Ray) Kuharski; nieces, Jennifer (Chet) Rabon & Jennifer (Randall) Barnett; and great niece, Bailey (Jeremy) Harrell; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Delaware. 

He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and the National Guard. Earl was the Vice President of the Christian Motorcycle Association of Naples, FL and also served in the Speakers Bureau for Sprint Telecommunications Company, giving over 300 speeches and directing hands-on workshops at schools for children.

Memorial Service: Tuesday November 15, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Beck officiating.
