Douglas James Lacy

Douglas James Lacy, age 38, of Talking Rock, Ga, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Berea, Kentucky. He was born November 11, 1980, in Canton, Ga. Mr. Lacy was a world traveler and worked numerous jobs throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lilly Mae and William "Billy" Lacy of Talking Rock, GA, and, grandmother, Lucille O'Neal of McCaysville, GA and stepfather Ricky O'Neal.

Survivors include his father, Johnny Lacy of Talking Rock, GA, and mother, Brenda G. Dodd O'Neal of McCaysville, GA, brothers, Josh (Stephanie) Lacy and Matthew O'Neal of Epworth, nephew, Levi Lacy, niece, Sara Lacy, grandmother, Carolyn Waters of Dawsonville, GA, grandfather, Edward "Ebbie" O'Neal of McCaysville, GA, and several aunts, uncle, and cousins.

A "Celebration of Life" will be Held on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 11:00 AM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville with Rev. Chan Mitchell officiating. All family and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family with final expenses.
