Douglas (Andy) Hyde

Douglas Anderson "Andy" Hyde, age 58, of Copperhill, passed away Wednesday evening, February 13, 2019. Mr. Hyde was born September 7, 1960, in Ducktown, TN to J.T. Hyde and the late Betty Jean Cook Hyde. Andy was a US Navy Veteran and was a Nurse Practitioner with the Appalachian Physical Group. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his spare time.

Survivors include his daughter, Hannah (Avram) Allen, granddaughter, Londyn Andrea Allen, grandson, Liam Allen, father, J.T. Hyde, companion, Connie Cook, sister, Vanessa Hyde McKeon, sister, Becky (Ryan) Johnson, nephews, Bill McKeon, Dusty McKeon, and, Nathan Johnson.

Funeral services: Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 3:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home in McCaysville from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
