Dorson Underwood, 89 years old of Cassville, GA, passed away in Blue Ridge,GA on October 7, 2009.
He was born March 5, 1920 in Fannin county, GA, son of Prince and Rady Underwood .
He worked as a forman for City Service in Copperhill, TN. Retired in 1982.
Surviving are daughter, Joyce Yunt, son, Don Underwood, daughter, Denise Hunnicutt, daughter, Lynn Frederick, daughter, Dottie Underwood, and daughter, Debbie Underwood. Granchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by wife Doris Underwood and son, Joe Ball.
Friends will be received Monday October 12, 2009 from 2:00PM till 4:00PM and from 6:00PM till 9:00PM at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Blue Ridge, GA.
Services will be held Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 2:00PM, from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Murdock officiating.
Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements for this service have been entrusted to the Henry Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia.
