Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Fugate Crum, age 74, of Blairsville, Georgia, who passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mrs. Crum was born in Haines City, Florida, on December 3, 1936, a daughter of the late Wilson C. Fugate and the late Louis Martha Alderman Fugate. She had been a teacher at Lakeland Christian School in Florida.
Mrs. Crum will be missed, especially by her loving family: her husband of 55 years, Robert L. Crum; son, Richard Crum, of Lakeland, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Ricky Rich, of Gainesville, Georgia; Grandchildren: Miranda Brooks, Lauren Brooks, of Gainesville, and Ahna Crum of Lakeland.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crum will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at Antioch Baptist Church, with Pastor George Cline officiating. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Jim Ackles, Josh Kennedy, Clarence Phillips, George Danner, Terry Kintz, Derek Stepp, Clay Fox, and Jonathan Lodge. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will begin after 6 p.m., on Tuesday, with the family especially meeting with friends between the hours of 6 until 9 p.m.
