Doris Ester Underwood

Doris E. Underwood, age 88 of Cartersville, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her home. Doris was born Saturday, April 19, 1919 in Cherokee Co. NC to the late David Collier and the late Ora Bell Hawkins Collier. She was a life long christian and was preceded in death by son, Joseph Timothy Ball.

Survivors include: daughter, Barbara Joyce Yant of Rossville, Ga, son, Donald C. Underwood of Cartersville, daughter, Denise C. Hunnicutt of Cartersville, daughter, Diane Lynn Frederick of Trosper, Ky., daughter, Debra Fay Underwood of Blue Ridge, daughter, Dorothy K. Underwood of Panama City, Fla., daughter, Elisha Underwood of Jasper, Ga, sister, Mae Price of Union, SC, several grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great granchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Chris Britton, Don Underwood and Mike Morgan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Friday, November 2.
