Doris Ann Gray, age 73, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Tuesday morning, December 12, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Gray was born April 16, 1944, in Fannin County, GA to the late James Hoke Lowery and the late Ollie Smith Lowery. She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church; she enjoyed gardening and canning. Her favorite past time was spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Clyde Bent "C.B." Gray, daughter, Diane O'Neal, son, Roy L. Gray, sisters, Maudine Hamby, Carol Sue Lowery, and Blanch Sisson.
Survivors include: sons, Raymond Charles Gray, Melvin D. Gray, daughters, Tracy L. Gray, Janie M. Gray, sister, Edith Fox, brothers, Charles Wilburn Lowery, and Jack Edward Lowery, grandchildren, Joshua Gray Hughes, Ryan Gray, Carla Ensley, Samatha Gray, Alisha Gray, Leighann Harkins, Kelsey Gray, Mikayla Kendall, Maci Kendall, Brent Gray, Chandler Bond, and Austin Hughes, great-grandsons, two, Billy Henry, and Bennie Henry.
Graveside services: Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 2:00 PM from the Gray Family Cemetery. Pallbearers: Joshua Gray Hughes, Billy Henry, Bennie Henry, Greg Lowery, James Lowery, Patrick Crain, and Greg Jack Lowery Jr., and Honorary Pallbearer Charles Flowers.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, December 13, 2017, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
