The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces Memorial Services for Mrs. Dora Moreland Marshall, age 87 of Young Harris, who passed away on August 18, 2015 at her home.
She leaves behind to treasure her memory: her daughter, TerryLynn Marshall; and siblings, James I. Moreland, Carvin Moreland, Ernest Moreland, Virginia Kern, Deena Harkins, June Legge and Janet Hogsed. Numerous nieces and nephews also share in her legacy. Dora was preceded in death by her son, Paul Marshall; former husband, Robert Marshall; her parents, Dean and DoraBelle (Dayton) Moreland; and a brother, Paul Moreland.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee with Rev. Danny Burch officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins. Inurnment will be at Woods Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Young Harris College, designated specifically for the Ladies Athletics Program. P.O. Box 37, Young Harris, GA 30582.
