Donnie Green

Donnie Green, age 72 of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Donnie was born March 21, 1947 in Fannin County to the late Edgar Green and the late Hazel Dilbeck Green. A member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church #2, Donnie was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Hyde, and brother, Vernie Green. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Beverly Green, son, Tracy (Susan) Green, son, Terry (Alisha) Green, brother, Ralph Green, sister, Jean Brown, grandchildren, Hannah Green, Donovan Green, Ethan Green, Billy Reece, Bree Reece, Laurel Herman and Salina Bradley, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Welcome Hill Baptist Church #2 with Rev. Brent Carter officiating. Music provided by Carolyn and Wesley Richardson. Interment will follow in the Welcome Hill #2 Cemetery. Pallbearers include Albert Green, Danny Green, Junior Hyde, Timmy Brown, Franklin Wright, and Dale Green. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Green and Billy Reece.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 5-9 pm.
