Mr. Donald Robert Duggan, known as "Donnie," age 68, of Turtletown, TN, passed away Sunday evening Aug. 29, 2010 at the Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Mr. Duggan was born May 25, 1942 in Polk Co., TN to the late Burt Duggan and Lola Duggan . He was of Baptist Faith and a US Army Veteran serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Donnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandsons. He was preceded in death by brother, Ronnie Duggan.
Survivors include: wife of 44 years, Phyllis Morrow Duggan, daughter and son-in-law, Tamala and Eric Teague, daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Brett Sisson, daughter, Melissa Duggan, sister, Mona Lee Roberts, sister, Garnette Kidd, grandsons, Mathew Teague, Adam Teague and Logan Sisson,
Funeral services: Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Turtletown Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Harper and Rev. Charles Cheatham officiating. Music was provieded by Janice Reid and Glenda & Charles Cheatham. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Jeremy Collis, Chris Collis, Jason Collis, Mark Long, Chris Duggan, and Marshal Duggan. Honorary pallbearers: Al Farner, Charles Long, Roy Goode, Buddy Ledford, Louis Dockery, Wayne Dockery, J. C. Lunsford, and Dwight Morrow.
