Donald Leon Sosebee

Mr. Donald Leon Sosebee, age 76, of Marble, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. He was born in Young Harris, GA to the late Elmer & Elnora Powell Sosebee, on Tuesday, July 27, 1943.
Donald enjoyed playing horseshoes, Rook, and spending time with family.
He goes on to be with his wife, Amanda Lou Chastain Sosebee, as well as, his parents and his brother Jerry Sosebee.
Donald will be remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his children, Leon (Tina) Sosebee, Leroy Sosebee and Larry (Ramona) Sosebee; siblings, Jean Thomas, Bill (Geraldine) Sosebee, Fred (Carolyn) Sosebee, Edith (Earl) Hunter and George (Wanda) Sosebee, Alan Sosebee, Watson (Opal) Stevens; grandchildren, Chelsea (Samuel) Ingram, Cameron Sosebee, Cody Sosebee, Chandler Sosebee, Andrew (Halee) Sosebee and Whitney Sosebee; great-grandchildren, Taylah Ingram and Anslee Sosebee.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at 2:00 pm from the New Martin's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Barnard, Rev. Calvin Murphy, Rev. Paul Ray Morgan and Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Troy Lee Phillips, Larry Crisp, Bruce Chastain, Derwin Chastain, Wendell Chastain and Timmy Chastain will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive guests on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church.
