Mrs. Dolly Cook, age 86 of Blairsville, GA, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at Union General Hospital. Mrs. Cook was born Wednesday, June 21, 1922 in Fannin County, GA to the late George M. Ross and the late Thedocia King Ross. She was a member of Confidence United Methodist ChurchMrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Cook, sisters, Helon Ross and Delma Pickelsimer, brothers, Elmer, Wendall, Lenard and W.T. Ross and granddaughter, Elisa Daniels Hix..

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Donald H. and Opal Cook of Griffin, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Harry Daniels of Smyrna, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Billy Joe and Wanda Cook of Blairsville, GA, grandchildren, Kevin Daniels, Heather Daniels Goins, Donald H. Cook, Jr., Lydia C. Hamil and Angelina A. Cook, great grandchildren, Martha, Hannah and Grace Daniels, Kyle and Sydney Goins, Rachal Hix, Keldon and Kyson Cook, and Aniston and Patrick Hamil. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 8, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville with the Rev. Ned Wilcoxon, Rev. Jonathan Hood and Kevin Daniels officiating. Music will be provided by Ned Wilcoxon, Keith and Kelly Brewer, Howard Brys and Ralph Grice. Interment will follow in Confidence Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Thursday, August 7.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Confidence United Methodist Church..
