Diane "Nine" Patterson

Diane Janet "Nine" Patterson, age 60 of McCaysville, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, at her home. She was born May 22, 1953, in Kingston, PA to the late Robert Dendle and Evelyn Barnhardt Dendle. She attended Epworth First Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling; especially cruses and Disney. She liked to spend her spare time reading. She was very partial to kids and older people. She was a bus driver for Fannin County School system and she loved the kids on her bus routes. She worked for Kaye's Auto Parts as office manager where she like working with people that she came in contact with.

Survivors include: mother, Evelyn Dendle; husband, Wayne Patterson; son, Jason Alexander (Alisa) Nipper; stepson, Jeff (Andrea) Patterson; sister, Donna Dendle; sister, Debbie (Tom) Marchese; grandchildren, Jared Patterson, Todd Patterson, Brendan Nipper, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 7:00 pm from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Dr. Tom Jordan, officiating. Music provided by: Vernon Owenby. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers: Fannin County bus drivers and bus garage employees, Norman Kaye and employees of Kaye's Auto Parts.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Monday, July 29, 2013, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm & Tuesday, July 30, 2013, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
