Dian Frances Hawkins

Dian Frances Hawkins, age 64 of Mineral Bluff, passed away January 3, 2018, at Landmark Hospital in Athens, GA. Mrs. Hawkins was born January 14, 1953, in Blue Ridge, GA. A member of Temple Baptist Church, she enjoyed camping, Sunday drives, gardening, crocheting, and computer games. She was preceded in death by her father, Kemp O'Neal, her mother, Joyce O'Neal, sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Calvin Nicholson, and her nephew, Jerry DeWitt.

Survivors include: husband, Lynn Hawkins, daughter, Christy Sims, son, Harold Dills, son, Joseph (Crystal) Hawkins, daughter, Regina (Cody-Beau grand-dog) Hawkins, grandchildren, Chyanne, Treshaun, Cody, Kayla, Brianna, Sarah, and Regina, best friend and dog, Sugar Hawkins, sister, Lucy (Tim) Hopkins, nieces, Jessica (Jason) Hughes, Courtney (Zack) Robertson, Taylor Hopkins, nephew, Jayden Hopkins, and several great nieces & great-nephews.

Funeral services: Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 12:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Roger Beck officiating. Music: The Heavenly Echoes. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers: Joseph Hawkins, Jason Hughes, Zack Robertson, Logan DeWitt, Matthew Hawkins, Anthony Stanley. Honorary pallbearers: Tim Hopkins, James Hawkins, Raymond Hawkins, Howard Woody, Jamie Cox, David Rogers, Danny Foster, Harold Dills.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, January 5, 2018, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to aid with funeral expenses.
