Della Bowers

Della Bowers, age 90 of Mineral Bluff, passed away January 19, 2018 at Union General Hospital. Mrs. Bowers was born October 2, 1927 in Suches, GA to the late Dallas Warren and the late Julia Grizzle Warren. A member of McCaysville Church of Christ, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Bowers Sr., son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Bowers and Donna Bowers, grandchildren, Kenneth Bowers, Jr., Margaret Bowers, and Stacy Carter. Mrs. Bowers lived for her family, and loved going to church and reading her Bible.

Survivors include: son, Junior (Shirley) Bowers, daughter, Anndeleen (Ronnie) Henson, son, Jerry (Betty) Bowers, grandchildren, Rhonda Bowers, Chad Bowers, Kim Hyatt, Mark Pittman, Angie Hall, Terry Pittman, Tonia Dunn, and Melissa Griffin, twenty great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the McCaysville Church Of Christ with the Ministers Keith Richie and Bill Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the McCaysville Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chad Bowers, Kenneth Bell, Jerry Williams, Don Dilbeck, Bob Loudermilk, and R. E. Van. Honorary pallbearers: Mark Pittman, Terry Pittman, and Ronnie Henson.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, January 20, 2018, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
