David Hugh Reach,

David Hugh Reach, Master Chief, USN retired, age 80 of Suches, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Mr. Reach was born September 16, 1940, in Birmingham, AL, to the late James Hubert Reach and the late Florence Elsie Fitts Reach. He lived in Fannin County for 35 years after retiring from the US Navy. David was a member of Temple Baptist Church, enjoyed Alabama College Football, farming, and Blue Grass Music. He also was a former real estate agent with Georgia Prime Realty.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Eleanor Vick Reach, children, Tammie (Chris) Lawler, Andy (Sabre) Reach, grandchildren, James (Kat) Reach, Katy Williams, Hannah Reach, Merritt (Sean) McKelleget, Sarah Reach, great-grandchildren, Jaxon Fouts, David Alexander Reach, and Addison McKelleget.
