David James Cline, 71, passed away on September 21st, 2024. He was born on August 14th, 1953 in Canton, OH to the late Robert and Mary Cline.
David was known for his adventurous spirit. He was always looking for the opportunity to explore and challenge himself. In his pursuit of intellectual engagement, he found joy in solving puzzles, crosswords, and Sudoku, activities that kept his mind sharp and alert.
Outside of his professional life, David had a profound love for the water. He relished every moment spent outdoors, particularly when he could glide across the waves while water skiing, a sport in which he excelled. Additionally, David had a passion for cooking; he took great pleasure in preparing meals and desserts to share with his family and friends, creating memories around the dinner table that will be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to enjoy them.
He also dedicated over 35 years of his career as a Tool and Die Maker with General Motors, where he built a reputation for his skill and expertise.
He is survived by his loving wife Rada Marie Cline; children Jamie Kirtley, Stephanie DeCost, Charles Steele, Matthew Steele, and Joseph Steele; cousin Bruce Chornock; and thirteen grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Cline and brother Edward Cline.
As we remember David, we celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the mark he made on our hearts. His legacy of love, adventure, and camaraderie will forever be cherished by all.
