Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces the death and funeral services for Mr. David Charles Rich, age 67 of Blairsville, who passed away on Sunday August 30th, 2020 at his home.
Mr. Rich was born on September 20th, 1952 in Towns County to his late parents, Charles Elbert and Jessie Grapelle (Chambers) Rich. David was the owner and operator of Rich Drywall for many years. He enjoyed working, riding motorcycles, and loved to be on the lake.
David is survived by his companion, Donna Guy of Blairsville, GA; several extended family members and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Rogers officiating. Interment will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Jimmy Bell, Chad Lentz, David Poole, Bobby D'Wayne Cantrell, Mike Thomas, Doug Abercrombie, and Dustin Elliott all serving as pallbearers.
The Family will meet with friends on Monday, August 31st from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville.
