The Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mr. Daryl Lee Brown, age 56 of Blairsville who passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014.

Daryl was born on March 10, 1958 to Ted and Myrna Brown. With Daryl's birth, they had a son who caused a lot of adventures in their lives! He grew up in Hillsdale, Michigan, and graduated in the Class of '76 at Hillsdale High School.

Daryl went into the Army to serve our country during peacetime. While in the Army, he qualified sharpshooter with an M-16 rifle. He earned a Good Conduct Medal twice, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon. Daryl served proudly for our country as a meteorologist and earning the rank of Sergeant.

He married his wife, Pamela Jean Brown on February 15, 2007. They were married for 7 3/4 years. He was an amazing husband and provided for his family.

Daryl is survived by his darling and loving wife, Pamela Jean Brown; his stepchildren: Jeremy Ashley Lemlich; Jessika Ashlyn Albury Mull; Joshua Asher McCary Roberts; and Jen Ashleigh Iona Roberts; His friends, Doug and Kathy Corona and Jeffrey Dillon and his father-in-law, Carl Leon Albury and mother-in-law, Gloria May Albury; stepson-in-law, Jesse Mark Mull and granddaughter Zoey May Ruth Mull; soon to be daughter-in-law, Alysha Brown; Daryl will be greatly missed by close family members and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held in Georgia National Cemetery located in Canton.
