Darris Luther "D.L." Stafford

Mr. Darris Luther Stafford, age 71, of Blue Ridge, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 6, 2018.
He was born on May 17, 1947 in Dalton, GA to Darrell & Virginia Brown Stafford. Mr. Stafford was a member of Midway Baptist Church, as well as the Disabled American Veterans. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He goes on to meet his father, Darrell Stafford; daughter, Melinda Stafford and sisters, Lucille Stafford, Peggy Stafford Sewell and Betty Stafford Thomas. D.L. will be remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his wife of 50 Years, Rhenda Dean Stafford; mother, Virginia Brown Stafford; daughter, Samantha Stafford Taylor (Jamey); siblings, Mary Stafford Smith, Johnny Stafford (Cheryl) and Norma Stafford Deneux (Jerry). Also sharing in his legacy are many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Midway Baptist Church in McCaysville, GA. Rev. Jerry Rice and Rev. Jack Buchanan will be officiating the service with special music provided by Midway Baptist Church Choir. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Jamey Taylor, Jack Buchanan, Darren Garland, Glen Hughes, Danny Murdock, Joe Hughes, Tim Day, Jason Deal and Fritz Baugh.
