Cyrus George Parker

George Parker, age 69 of Morganton, GA passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at his home. Mr. Parker was born December 3, 1950, in Murphy, NC to the late Frank Parker and the late Nina Moore Parker. Mr. Parker attended Oak Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors and yard work. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed riding four-wheelers and motorcycles as well.

Survivors include: wife, Joan Parker; son, Travis (Kayla) Parker; daughter, Misty Dove; grandchildren, Kaydence Patterson, Cooper Patterson, Paisley Parker, Addy Dove, and Adien Dove.

Funeral services: Friday, November 13, 2020, at 11:00 am at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Borders officiating. Music provided by: The Dixieaires. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Raymond Mull, Lenny Waters, Austin Dockery, Chris Waters, Chris Leitner, Matthew Dalrymple.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA.
