Corban Ware

Mr. Corban Ware, age 92, of the Hot House Community, Cherokee County, NC, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018, in a Murphy Health Care Facility. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Birdie and Sim Ware, was retired from HT Hackney Company, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mary Lou Dunn Ware, who passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, brothers, Gordon and Sam Ware, sisters, Bessie Spurling, Willa Mae Higgins, Bobbie Moss, and Maddie Gaddis.

Survivors include his children, Larry Ware and his wife Linda of Cumming, GA, Perry Ware and wife Donna of Murphy, NC, David Ware and wife Kimberly of Morganton, GA, and Joyce Ware Johnson of Gastonia, NC, grandchildren, Michele Ware of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brian Ware of New Bern, NC, Whitney Ware of Charlotte, NC, Kingston Ware of Morganton, GA, Sam Richardson of Gaffney, SC, and Debbie Barnett of Gastonia, NC, five great-grandchildren, and brother, Earl Ware and wife Evelyn of Murphy, NC.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 1:00 pm from the Temple Baptist Church in Murphy, NC, with Rev. Don Padgett, Rev. Harvey Ware, and Rev. Steve Ware officiating. Music will be provided by Wayne Morgan. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Temple Baptist Church Wednesday, August 22, 2018, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
