Connie (Keiger) Beavers, age 46 of Morganton, GA, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Union General Hospital.

Mrs. Beavers was born Thursday, August 16, 1962 in Gwinnett Co., GA. She was preceded in death by her dad, Richmond Lance and sister, Deborah Shearouse.

Survivors include: husband, Bobby Beavers of Morganton, GA, mother, Ruth Lance of Morganton, GA, father, Raymond Harrison of Flowery Branch, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Kimberly & Adam Weinberg of Canton, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Kristina & Clayton Mason of Gainesville, GA, sister & brother-in-law, Dianne & Daniel Abernathy of Murphy, NC, grandchildren, Austin Weinberg, Mackinzie Weinberg, Jordyn Mason, nieces & nephews, Mitchell Lance, Matthew Abernathy, Hailey Abernathy, Thomas Shearouse, Christy Lynn Shearouse, Carolyn Shearouse, Caitlyn Shearouse.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Swafford, Rev. Grady Ray officiating. Music will be provided by Alan and Linda Swafford. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Clayton Mason, Adam Weinberg, Daniel Abernathy, Stanley Sheets, Mitchell Lance, Tony Prickett.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9, Wednesday, November 19.

In lieu of flowers make donations to the family to help defray funeral costs.
