Surviving are: wife, Shirley Newton, son & daughter-in-law, Tony & Audra Newton, daughter & son-in-law, Sandee & Shane Bingham, son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Theresa Newton, granddaughter, Andrea Newton, grandson, Andrew Newton, granddaughter, Marlee Bingham, grandson, Micheal Newton, brother, Bill Newton, sister, Betty Dalton, sister, JoAnn Newton.
He was preceded in death by father, John "Jim" Newton, brother, John Newton, brother, Charlie Newton, brother, Lenard Newton, brother, Roger Newton, sister, Ann Ehrharbt, sister, Edna Davis, sister, Alice Garren, sister, Mary-Ruth Meade.
Friends will be received Friday, August 14, 2009 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Blue Ridge, GA.
Services will be held at Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 2pm, with Rev. Roy Clore and Rev. David Bowers officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hothouse Baptist Church Cemetery.
