Clinton Odell Stamey

Clinton Odell Stamey, age 72 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, in Blairsville, GA. Mr. Stamey was born August 26, 1949, in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Everette Stamey and the late Lena Cruse Stamey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Stamey, brother, James Stamey, and sister, Carolyn Kell. Clint retired after working for Georgia Marble Company for many years and enjoyed fishing, taking care of his chickens, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: sons, Michael K (Paulette) Stamey and James Matthew Stamey; daughters, April (Fred) Stagner and Michelle (Kelvin) Roberts; brother, Wayne Stamey; sisters, Sharon (Eddie) Wilkey, Gail Stamey Cross, Diane Stamey, Deborah Green, Patricia Green, and Teresa (Marvin) Roberson; grandchildren, Alicia Jarrett, Amber Aldrich, Jessica Stamey, and Jackson Everette Stamey; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services: Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Truelove and Rev. Steve Rhotten officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant #2 Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, GA. Pallbearers: Wesley Green, Terry Green, Tim Jarrett, Tony Gravley, Jeff Aldrich, Stanley Anderson, Rodney Woody, and Joseph Woody.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
