Clarence David Morrow

Clarence David Morrow, age 89 of Murphy, NC, passed away Monday evening Aug. 3, 2009 at the Copperbasin Medical Center. He was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late James L. Morrow and the late Agnes Jane Rose Morrow. He was of the Church of God faith and had retired from the Citi Service Company in Copperhill.

Survivors include: wife, Alene Hamby Morrow, son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Sharon Morrow, son, Eddy Morrow, son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Doris Morrow, daughter, Helen Duggan, daughter & son-in-law, Cathy & Rodney Campbell, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday Aug. 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Murphy Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Hall officiating. Music will be provided by Ben Callihan and the Barker Brothers. Interment will follow in the River Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Rob Morrow, Rodney Morrow, Tim Morrow, Dan Morrow, Chris Duggan, Marshall Duggan and Keith Campbell. Honorary pallbearers include: Tyler Duggan, Thurman Hamby, Ray Hamby, Randall Hamby, Dee Hamby, Duke Hamby, Mike Hamby, Don Duggan, Pat Campbell, Walter Birdwell and Dee Loudermilk.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, August 06, 2009 from 5:00 pm-9:00pm.
