Mr. C.J. Hughes, age 67, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away December 10, 2009 at his home.
C.J. was born on June 28, 1942 in Fannin Co., GA, to the late Claude and Edith Hughes. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Ellijay and retired from Flav-O-Rich Milk Company.
Survivors include: wife,Flora Mason Hughes, daughters, Angie (Barry) Quarles of Ellijay, Ga., Amie (Jackie) Ellington of Ellijay, GA; sisters, Christine (Charles) Franklin of Meansville, GA,and Maxine (Edward) Godfrey of Epworth, GA; grandsons, C. J. Ellington, Dylan Ellington, and Luke Quarles.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 3:30 PM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Hood,Rev.Mikey Wheeler and Jackie Ellington officiataing. Music will be provided by Christa McArthur, Leta, Rachel, & Rebecca Hood, Bill McVey, Wallace Tudor. Pallbearers will be John Reece, Ronald Colwell, Bobby Abercrombie, Gerald Mathis, Dillon Wheeler, Jeff McDaniel. Burial will follow in Friendship # II Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will recive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
