The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces memorial services for Mrs. Charlotte Nicholson Linehan, age 93 of Hiawassee who passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Linehan was born in Towns County, Georgia on April 17, 1919. A daughter of the late William & Della Nichols Nicholson. Charlotte was a member of Lower Bell Creek Baptist Church. With an eye for beauty and gifted with a green thumb she cultivated her flower garden. She was an avid reader who was often found enjoying a novel with her dog beside her. She loved animals, but most of all she loved people. She enjoyed gathering with family and friends and believed that each moment in life should be lived to it's fullest. Charlotte was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor Sprague; her second husband, Ed Linehan, her parents; brothers, Elzie & Edward Nicholson; and sisters, Bonnie Kimsey, Paralee Hensley, and Marie Kitchens.

She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her family: sisters, Euel Stephens and Irene Eller; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Special music will be presented by The Hunter Family.
