Charlotte Ann "chick" Garrett

Charlotte Ann "Chick" Garrett, age 57 of Hiawassee and Covington, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in the Newton Medical Center.
Chick was born in Clayton, GA, February 15, 1953. She was a member of Rockdale First Baptist Church. Chick was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Garrett.
Survivors include her parents, J. T. and Leta Garrett of Hiawassee, and Covington, GA; sister, Betsy Marlene Morgan of Covington, GA, sister, Sheila Jones of Social Circle, GA and brother, Greg Garrett of Covington, GA, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lower Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Cantrell and Rev. Brandon Arrowood officiating. The body will lie instate at the church from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. Music will be provided by Joye Squires and the Lower Hightower Baptist Church Choir. Pallbearers will be Jeff Arrowood, Adam Garrett, Garrett Ellison, Blake Parker, Jody Hammond and Dennis Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Linn Masters and Jeremey Arrowood. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 06, 2010 from 6 until 9 pm at the at the Cochran Funeral Home, in Hiawassee.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, make memorial contributions to: the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or the Lower Hightower Baptist Church.
