Charles Roy Curtis

Charles Roy Curtis, age 91, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021, at his home. He was born July 19, 1929, in Cherokee County, NC, to the late John Curtis and the late Laura Brown Curtis. He was a member of Upper Peachtree Baptist Church, a home builder, and enjoyed gardening and turkey hunting. Mr. Curtis was preceded in death by siblings Betty Curtis, Dewel Curtis, Bob Curtis, and Opal Jean Raxter.

Survivors include his spouse, Eunaviee Hedrick Curtis, children, Angie Curtis, Gail Conner, and Myra Teesateskee, five grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, several niece's and nephews also survive.

Funeral services: Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 3:00 pm from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve West, Rev. Derek Tilley, and Rev. Jason Killian officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jeff Martin, Larry Curtis, Barry Curtis, Dennis Curtis, David Bruce Yonce, and Danny Raxter.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Sunday, May 30, 2021, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
