Charles "Russell" Holley

Mr. Charles "Russell" Holley, age 57 of Morganton, passed away June 9, 2016 at his home. Mr. Holley, a member of Highland Baptist Tabernacle Church was born April 5, 1959 in Atlanta, GA to Charles E. Holley and Dolores Stephens Holley.

Survivors include:father, Charles E. Holley, mother, Dolores Holley, wife, Jan Holley, son, Charles R. (Patty) Holley, Jr., grandson, Charles "Charlie" R. Holley, III, son, James C.(Samantha Jansen) Holley, sister, Renae Sosebee and niece Brittany Gorham.


Funeral services: Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, with the Pastor Rusty Thomas and Pastor Donnie Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Mike Stephens, Mark Stephens, Mitch Stephens, Garry Dotson, Drew Dotson, and Jason Atkins.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, June 10, 2016, 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
