Charles "Chuck" Francis Hoge

Charles "Chuck" Francis Hoge, age 83 of Murphy, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home. Mr. Hoge was born Oct. 31, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late Chester and Niva Hoge. Moving from Charolette, MI. he had lived in the Murphy area for over 20 years. He retired as a foreman with Owens Illinois after 30 years of service.
He was a member of Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed working in his flower garden. He was preceded in death by son, Craig Hoge.
Survivors include: wife, Barbara Jean Hoge, step-sons, William S. Priesman, Richard Priesman and Daniel Priesman, two grandchildren also survive.
Services will be held: Monday, March 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chester Jones officiating.
