Charles Everett Panter

Charles Everett Panter, age 76 of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018, at his home. He was born January 1, 1942, in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Loy Panter and the late Edna West Panter. Everett was a Member of O Zion Baptist Church and he owned and operated Panter's Construction Company. His hobbies were Saw Milling and Farming. He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Panter.

Survivors include: wife, Evelyn Bramlett Panter, daughters, Cindy (Jimmy) Underwood and Vivian (Charles) Garmon, son, Charles (Kim) Panter, Jr., brother, Edward Panter, sisters, Gail Price and June Brunny, grandchildren, Joshua Underwood, Amand Underwood Deal, Jeremy Underwood, Charles Rhett Panter, Reece Panter, Christa Garmon, and Caden Garmon, great-grandchildren, Jade Underwood, Emily Deal, and Ethan Deal.

Funeral services: Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Salem # 1 Baptist Church (Sugar Hill) with the Rev. Tim Garrett and Dr. Roger Beck officiating. Music provided by Patsy Beaver and James McGill. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Joshua Underwood, Rhett Panter, Reece Panter, Danny Sanders, Vincent Davis and Saed Mahmoodi. Honorary pallbearers: Brad Thomas, and Stacy Vandzandt.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Monday, August 6, 2018, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
