Charles Edward. Earwood

Charles Edward Earwood, age 79, of Murphy, NC passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017, at his home. He was born July 4, 1937, in Kannapolis, NC to the late Swept Earwood and the late Lena Mayfield Earwood. Mr. Earwood was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and also loved his dogs. He was preceded in death by brothers, Andy Earwood, Johnny Earwood, Sammy Earwood, Gordon Earwood, and by sister, Katie Hale. Survivors include wife; Betty L. Earwood, daughters; Patricia (Merle) Marlin, Terri (Steve) Hollis, Cynthia (Tim) Wyatt, sisters; Judy (Odist) Bowlen, Betty Jean (Marvin) Kephart, Dorothy (Billy Hugh) Johnson, brother; Billy (Billy Jean) Earwood, 4 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 9 great grandsons, and 3 great granddaughters.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 5:00 pm from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy, NC with Rev.Chris Furl and Brant Marlin officiating.
