Charles Edward Brackett

Mr. Charles Edward Brackett, age 91 of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016, at his home. Mr. Brackett was born May 7, 1925, in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Albert Lee Brackett and the late Ethel Olvey Brackett. He was a member of First Baptist Church Blue Ridge and the Blue Ridge Gideon Camp. Mr. Brackett had been a local business man for a number of years. He owned and operated Brackett Motors on East Main in Blue Ridge. He was preceded in death by wife, Lucille Brackett and son, John Brackett.

Survivors include: son, Robert (Helen L.) Brackett, sister, Frances (Robert) Keith, grandchildren, Bonnie Brackett and Chris (Amanda) Brackett & Michael Richardson.

Funeral services: Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Willis Officiating. Music by Debra Cochran. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers members of the Blue Ridge Gideon Camp.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Monday, December 5, 2016, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
