Charles (chuck) Edward Stiles

Charles (Chuck) Edward Stiles, age 60, of Hayesville, NC passed away December 26, 2009.
Mr. Stiles was born on May 30, 1949 in Cherokee County to Reid Luther Stiles and the late Ruby Stiles. He graduated from Atlanta School of Art, served as Art Director at Creative Loafing in Atlanta for 21 years and worked for five years at Philly Franchising as art director. Due to health problems Mr. Stiles retired in 2004. He loved to draw, paint, read and study about the civil war and loved cooking. Mr. Stiles sold several pieces of his art locally. He was also very interested in his family's genealogy.
Survivors include: devoted loving wife, Catherine Stiles, step-daughter, Beth (Eric) Murillo of El Paso, TX, step- grandson, Elio Murillo, aunts, Mabel Cooke, Gladys McDonald, and Bessie Owens, and an uncle, Ralph Styles.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Mount Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Warren Golden officiating.
